ZyVOP connects via an App Password rather than your primary Bluesky password, ensuring limited and revocable access.

1. Open bsky.app and navigate to Settings → App Passwords.
2. Click Add App Password.
3. Label it ZyVOP Publisher.
4. Copy the 16-character generated key (formatted as xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx).
5. In ZyVOP Settings, input:
   • Identifier: Your Bluesky handle (e.g. alice.bsky.social)
   • App Password: The generated app password

1. 300-Character Strict TruncationCopy Anchor Link

Bluesky limits post text to 300 characters. ZyVOP dynamically formats your post:

• Computes character lengths using unicode grapheme clustering.
• Fits: "New post: <Title>\n\n<Excerpt>\n\nRead more: <Canonical URL>".
• If the excerpt exceeds 300 characters, it gracefully truncates the excerpt with ... while preserving the full title and clickable canonical link.

2. Rich Text Link FacetsCopy Anchor Link

AT Protocol requires explicit byte-range facets for links. ZyVOP computes exact UTF-8 byte offsets so the link to your canonical blog is clickable on all Bluesky web and mobile clients.

3. Cover Image EmbedCopy Anchor Link

ZyVOP generates an app.bsky.embed.images attachment containing:

• Your article's cover image (resized to 1200px width and compressed to JPEG using Sharp)
• Alt text derived from your post title
• Aspect ratio metadata for proper rendering on all Bluesky clients
