Choose a responsive publication layout and configure light/dark logos, favicons, social links, and display toggles.
Publication Layouts
Choose one of three production homepage layouts from Publication → Appearance:

| Classic | A featured lead article, chronological stream, and utility sidebar |
| Stacked | A clean chronological feed for long-form engineering articles |
| Bento Grid | A featured lead article, identity and most-read panels, a responsive card grid, and newsletter banner |
All three layouts are customer-selectable in production and use the same publication branding, navigation, search, and responsive article pages.
Branding
Logo & Favicon
Upload separate logos for light mode and dark mode. The branding resolution cascade:
- Custom uploaded logo (light/dark variants)
- Profile avatar (if
useProfileAvataris not disabled) - Monogram — first letter of your publication name rendered in a styled container
Configure a custom favicon that appears in browser tabs and bookmarks. Falls back to your logo, then your profile avatar.
Social Links
Social links can be inherited from your profile or overridden at the publication level. Supported platforms: GitHub, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and personal website. Social links appear in the publication header, hero section, and footer with platform-specific icons.
Display Settings
Toggle what metadata is shown on your publication:
