Account, Safety, and Support
Manage account preferences, protect connected services, troubleshoot safely, and contact the right support channel.
Account settings are organized by purpose. Open Settings and choose the area that matches the change you need.
Settings map
| Area | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Profile | Your public identity and author information |
| Manage Tags | Topics you follow and use for discovery preferences |
| Security | Account security controls and active protections |
| Notifications | The updates you want ZyVOP to send |
| Integrations | Publishing destinations, developer access, AI providers, and connected workflows |
| Danger Zone | Destructive account actions that require careful review |
Publication identity, pages, themes, and domains live under Dashboard โ Publication, because they belong to the publication rather than your personal profile.
Protect connected accounts
- Use provider-issued API keys, access tokens, OAuth, or app passwords as instructed.
- Grant only the access needed for the integration.
- Revoke and replace a credential if it appears in a repository, screenshot, log, or support message.
- Disconnect integrations you no longer use.
- Keep developer tokens out of Markdown frontmatter and public CI configuration.
ZyVOP stores supported third-party integration credentials encrypted. Developer tokens are separate from browser sessions and can be revoked without changing your account password. See Security for the technical model.
Troubleshoot in the right order
- Read the exact message shown beside the article or integration.
- Decide whether the problem belongs to the article, ZyVOP review, or an external provider.
- Confirm that the integration still shows as connected.
- Open the provider-specific destination guide.
- Fix invalid credentials, permissions, content, or URLs before retrying.
- Check Troubleshooting & FAQ for known platform behavior.
Repeated retries will not repair an expired token, missing permission, invalid domain, or content-validation error.
Choose the right support channel
| Need | Where to go |
|---|---|
| Help using the ZyVOP product | Email [email protected] |
| Common platform or formatting issue | Troubleshooting & FAQ |
| CLI bug or CLI feature request | zyvop/zyvop-cli issues |
| Security vulnerability | Follow Security Reporting |
| Recent product behavior change | Read the Changelog |
When asking for help, include the affected feature, article or destination, the exact visible error, what you expected, and what you already tried. Remove passwords, API keys, tokens, cookies, private drafts, and unnecessary personal data.
Reporting content or community problems
Use the report controls provided on eligible articles or discussions. Select the reason that most closely describes the issue and provide factual context. Moderation review and technical support are separate processes.
If your own article receives a restricted or blocked decision, use the appeal action shown beside its status. See Review, visibility, and canonical URLs.
Before destructive account actions
Review what will be deleted, disconnected, or become unavailable. Export content or subscriber data you need to retain and resolve publication or domain dependencies first. Destructive actions should be treated as final unless the interface explicitly offers recovery.
